Yashasvi Jaiswal hails from Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, and

While training in Mumbai, Yashasvi sold paani puri on
the streets to make ends meet before his big break
in cricket.

mentored him and helped polish his cricketing skills.

school match, creating a record in the Giles Shield tournament.
In the 2018 Youth Asia Cup, Yashasvi was the leading scorer
with 318 runs, standing out among all participants.
Yashasvi became the youngest player to score a double
century in List A cricket during the 2019 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
He debuted in List A cricket for Mumbai, amassing
779 runs in just 12 matches, with an average of 70.81.
During the 2020 IPL auction, Rajasthan Royals
acquired Jaiswal for ₹2.40 crore, 12 times his base price.
