Zimbabwe achieved a world-record T20I score of 344 in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier against Gambia.

Zimbabwe's total broke Nepal's previous record of 314 set against Mongolia during the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games.

Skipper Sikandar Raza smashed an unbeaten 133* off just 43 balls, including 15 sixes and 7 fours, becoming the first Zimbabwean to score a T20I century.

Raza's century came off just 33 balls, tying for the second-fastest century in T20I history.

Openers Brian Bennett (50 off 26 balls) and Tadiwanashe Marumani (62 off 19 balls) provided a strong start, adding 98 runs in just 5.4 overs.

Clive Madande maintained the momentum with a rapid 53* off just 17 balls.

Zimbabwe's massive total of 344 set a new benchmark for the highest team score in T20I cricket.

Raza also became the first Zimbabwean to score a T20I century, cementing his place in cricketing history.

The previous top team scores included Nepal's 314 and India's 297/6 against Bangladesh, showing Zimbabwe's dominance.
