Pawan Kalyan's Journey:
From Film Icon to Political Leader
Pawan Kalyan was born Konidela Kalyan Babu and took his
name from his devotion to Lord Hanuman.
He is the younger brother of Megastar Chiranjeevi
, sharing a close bond with him.
Early in his career, Pawan Kalyan won a
National Award for the film "Tholi Prema."
His film "Gabbar Singh" is a remake of
Salman Khan’s Bollywood hit "Dabbang."
Pawan Kalyan is a multi-talented artist,
excelling as an actor, director, stunt coordinator
, singer, and choreographer.
He has been married three times and has children
named Akira and Aadhya from his second marriage.
As a philanthropist, he has contributed significantly to various
causes, including donating Rs. 5 lakh to Olympic shooter Rekha Chalichemala.
In response to the Uttarakhand
floods, he donated Rs. 2 million to the Natural
Calamity Management Fund.
Following cyclone Hudhud,
he donated Rs. 5 million to the Chief Minister’s
relief fund in Andhra Pradesh.
In 2014, Pawan Kalyan e
ntered politics, founding the “Jana Sena”
party.
