Famous Actress Tabu casted in a role in 'Dune: Prophecy' (Reports)
Tabu joins the Max prequel series "Dune: Prophecy" in a recurring role as Sister Francesca
The series is inspired by the novel "Sisterhood of Dune" and set 10,000 years before Paul Atreides' era in the "Dune" universe.
"Dune: Prophecy" follows two Harkonnen sisters combating threats to humanity's future and forming the Bene Gesserit sect.
The series, originally titled "Dune: The Sisterhood," has yet to announce its premiere date.
Tabu's character, Sister Francesca, is described as strong, intelligent, and a former love interest of the Emperor.
Tabu is a celebrated Indian actress, known for her roles in "Maachis," "Chandni Bar," "Cheeni Kum," "Haider," and "Andhadhun."
The series also stars Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, and other notable actors.
