Lakshya Sen, born on August 16, 2001, in Almora, Uttarakhand, India, comes from a badminton family with his father being a coach. 

He clinched the gold medal at the 2018  World Junior Badminton Championships in Markham, Canada.

Lakshya Sen Ranking: He broke into the top 100 of the BWF World Rankings by age 17.

He won a gold medal in the men's  singles at the 2022  Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Lakshya has played in the Premier Badminton League in India, enhancing his skills against international competition.

He reached the finals of the prestigious All England Open in 2022, showcasing his potential on a global stage.

Lakshya achieved his career-best world ranking of No. 9 in the BWF rankings.

Lakshya trains at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in Bengaluru, under the guidance of several renowned coaches.
